Registration for Mini Monkeys Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for ages 4-7 in Hinton, Alberta. The Beginner Stream is our introductory foundations program designed for brand‑new students, and should be selected if your child is joining BJJ for the first time. The Advanced Stream builds upon the Mini Monkeys Beginner curriculum and is intended for students who have completed at least one prior term or who are ranked Yellow Bar or higher. Please choose either the Beginner or Advanced program, as your child will attend only the stream selected.

Description

Mini Monkeys is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu class for children aged 4-7 years old. Emphasis is placed on self-defense, escapes, and becoming comfortable with wrestling. An adult/parent is required to participate as a partner for the entire class.

We run two sessions of Mini Monkey Brazilian jiu-jitsu during the year:

  • mid January to end of April
  • mid September to mid December

Program Streams:

  • Beginner Class: Mondays 6:15 – 7:00 pm
  • Advanced Class: Sundays 6:00 – 6:45 pm

Price: One registration fee covers both the child and adult together.

For your first class just wear a t-shirt and shorts. Within 1 month students are expected to purchase a uniform (gi).

*No classes on statutory or school holidays
